Our family of 5 chose Easy Travel Japan's Toyota Alphard to explore Lake Toya and Noboribetsu in Hokkaido — the most anticipated day of our entire Hokkaido trip! The Alphard was very spacious and comfortable, and despite the longer distances in Hokkaido we never felt tired inside this car. The scenery at Lake Toya was breathtaking — the lake, the mountains, and the outline of Showa Shinzan volcano in the distance were absolutely stunning. The hell valley at Noboribetsu was also spectacular, and soaking in the hot springs afterwards was incredibly relaxing. Driver Mr Zhang spoke Mandarin and a little English, so communication was never an issue for our Malaysian Chinese family — he also proactively shared information about the scenery and helpful tips along the way. Stephanie from the operations team responded quickly to our booking enquiries and made the whole arrangement very smooth. Highly recommend to Malaysian friends visiting Hokkaido — Toyota Alphard with Easy Travel Japan is a perfect combination!
Hokkaido has always been on my bucket list and I'm so glad we did it right — booked the Toyota Alphard through Easy Travel Japan for a day covering Sapporo and Otaru, and it was absolutely perfect. There were 4 of us and the Alphard was so comfortable and premium, the reclining seats made the drive between cities incredibly relaxing especially given the distances in Hokkaido. In Sapporo we visited the famous Sapporo Beer Museum and Odori Park, then headed to Otaru for the beautiful canal, the glass workshops, and some amazing fresh seafood. The scenery along the way was stunning — Hokkaido really is on another level. Our driver Mr Lin spoke Mandarin fluently which was perfect for us as Singaporeans — we could chat and communicate naturally throughout the whole day without any awkwardness at all. Stephanie from the operations team was also very responsive and helpful during the booking process. If you're visiting Hokkaido from Singapore and want a comfortable, private way to explore Sapporo and Otaru, the Toyota Alphard from Easy Travel Japan is the perfect choice.
