My group of 6 spent a fantastic day exploring Kyoto with Easy Travel Japan Toyota Hiace and I honestly can't recommend it enough. We'd been debating between the bus pass and a private hire and so glad we chose private — the flexibility made such a difference. No rushing, no crowds on public transport, just hopping in and out at our own pace. We hit Fushimi Inari at sunrise which was magical, then Kinkaku-ji, Philosopher's Path, Nanzen-ji, and wrapped up the evening at Gion. Our driver Mr Ali was brilliant — fluent in English, very friendly, and clearly passionate about Kyoto. He pointed out little details at each spot we would have completely missed on our own. Felt more like having a local guide than just a driver. Stephanie from the operations team kept everything well organised before and during the trip — very reassuring when you're travelling in a country where you don't speak the language. If you're visiting Kyoto and want to make the most of every hour, book the Toyota Hiace with Easy Travel Japan. Best transport decision of our Japan trip!

Came to Kyoto with a group of 7 and decided to book the Toyota Hiace through Easy Travel Japan — really glad we did! The van was super spacious and comfortable, all of us fit perfectly with room for all our bags. We covered so much ground in one day — Fushimi Inari early morning, then Kinkaku-ji, Arashiyama, Nishiki Market, and ended with a walk through Gion at dusk. Absolutely stunning city. Our driver Mr Wu spoke Mandarin fluently which was perfect for us as Singaporeans — communication was smooth and natural throughout the day, felt very relaxed. He also knew Kyoto extremely well and suggested the best order to visit each spot to beat the tourist crowds. Stephanie from the operations team was also very helpful and quick to respond whenever we had questions before the trip. Overall a really seamless and enjoyable experience. Would definitely use Easy Travel Japan again for our next Japan trip!
