Came to Tokyo for a shopping trip with a group of 7 and honestly the Toyota Hiace was the perfect choice for us. Tried to imagine squeezing onto the trains with 7 people and all our shopping bags and yeah, no thanks! The Hiace was spacious and comfortable throughout the day, and there was more than enough room for everything we bought by the end of the day. We covered Shibuya, Harajuku, Shinjuku, and Ginza — basically a full day of non-stop shopping and the van handled all our bags without any problem at all. Our driver Ms. Jiang was wonderful — she speaks Mandarin fluently which made communication super easy and natural for all of us as Singaporeans. She also knew Tokyo very well and was very patient waiting for us at each stop, never made us feel rushed even when we took a little longer than planned. Really appreciated that. Overall a smooth and enjoyable day, great service from Easy Travel Japan. Would definitely book the Hiace again for our next Tokyo shopping trip!
We went to the Hakone area as a big family — 8 of us total, 2 adults, 4 children, and 2 elderly parents. We were a little worried at first about comfort, especially for our elderly parents. But the Toyota Hiace from Easy Travel Japan was very spacious and comfortable, everyone had plenty of room without feeling cramped. We visited Owakudani, Hakone Shrine, and finished with shopping at Gotemba Premium Outlets — so much fun! Our driver, Mr. Fukuyama, was very professional and knew the Hakone area routes very well. His English was limited but he was very fluent in Japanese and communication was never an issue. Stephanie from the operations team was also very helpful via the WhatsApp group — every question we had was answered quickly, including when we requested a small schedule change mid-trip. For large Indonesian families planning a trip to the Hakone area or outside Tokyo, we highly recommend the Toyota Hiace from Easy Travel Japan. Thank you so much!
