Furano Flower Fields
Furano is famous for its lavender fields that starts blooming in late June and reaches its peak from around July to August.
Biei Patchwork Road & Panorama Road
Biei (美瑛) offers a beautiful landscape of gently rolling hills and vast fields. The area northwest of the town center is named "Patchwork Road" and the area south of the town center "Panorama Road".
Furano Cheese Factory
Hokkaido is famous for its dairy products including cheese. Furano Cheese Factory allows visitors to observe the cheese production process from behind windows. There are lots of cheese samples that can be tasted by visitors including those of a black cheese colored by squid ink
Furano Wine Factory
Furano has produced local wine since 1972. Furano Wine Factory is open to public and offers free wine tasting. There is also Restaurant Winehouse not far from factory. You can try the wines in combination with Western dishes here. |
