Iyashino Sato is an old village located near Mt Fuji. You can see the old Japanese house with Mount Fuji as the background. Not only that, you can also try various traditional Japanese clothes such as kimono, samurai clothes, yukata, and so on.

Oshino Hakkai is a tourist spots located in a small village between Lake Kawaguchiko & Lake Yamanakako. Oshino Hakkai is famous for its touristy set of eight ponds whose waters came from the snow melt from the slopes of nearby Mt Fuji.

The ponds water is very clear and have interesting plant life and large fish. Moreover, visitors can also drink cool water straight from the source here.

There is also a small open air museum called "Hannoki Bayashi shiryokan" where you can see traditional farmhouse with various farming tools, household items, samurai armor and weapons

Biei (美瑛) offers a beautiful landscape of gently rolling hills and vast fields. The area northwest of the town center is named "Patchwork Road" and the area south of the town center "Panorama Road".

Furano is famous for its lavender fields that starts blooming in late June and reaches its peak from around July to August.

There are lots of flower fields all across Furano and the best spot to view Lavender is Farm Tomita. This farm is free entrance and has cafes and shops that sell a wide range of lavender.

Hokkaido is famous for its dairy products including cheese. Furano Cheese Factory allows visitors to observe the cheese production process from behind windows. There are lots of cheese samples that can be tasted by visitors including those of a black cheese colored by squid ink

There is also an ice cream factory and a pizza factory and also hands-on workshops for making butter, ice cream, bread and cheese.

Mount Moiwa (藻岩山, Moiwa-yama) is one of several small, forested mountains southwest of central Sapporo. The mountain is a popular sightseeing spot that is known for the spectacular view out over the city from an observation deck at its summit. The view is especially beautiful after sunset.

Shiroi Koibito Park is a fantastic space based on the ideals of deliciousness, fun and stories of sweets from a bygone era. In addition to housing the Shiroi Koibito Factory where this well-known Hokkaido confectionery is produced, the park also has a cafe to allow visitors to savor Ishiya’s original sweets, the Cookiecraft Studio (where budding confectioners can try their hand at making their own Shiroi Koibito cookies) and the Rose Garden. The things visitors see, taste and experience here will make for truly “sweet”memories!

Odori Park (大通公園, Ōdōri Kōen) is the broad median of Odori ("large street") in the center of Sapporo, separating the city into north and south. The park stretches about a kilometer and a half over twelve city blocks and offers pleasant green space during the warmer months. In early February, the park serves as the main site of the Sapporo Snow Festival.

There are about 60 stores, belonging to the following two types, that line both sides of the main aisle:
• Stores that sell things from the Wholesale Market
• Stores selling cooked foods

Most of the stores offer samples, and you can eat and compare crabs and melons between the stores.
In addition to seafood and produce, there are stores selling desserts and Sake made in Hokkaido.
It is very convenient since you can buy souvenirs here as well.
