DESCRIPTION
Toshogu Shrine is known as Nikko landmark, the most famous shrine in Nikko Area. Toshogu Shrine has also been registered as UNESCO heritage.
The shrine is set in a beautiful forest, consisting of more than a dozen buildings. There are countless wood carvings and large amounts of gold leaf that were used to decorate the buildings.
