Mount Moiwa
Mount Moiwa is one of forested mountain near central Sapporo. Mount Moiwa is popular for its spectacular view out over the city from an observation deck on its summit. Especially beautiful after sunset. There is Mount Moiwa Ropeway and a mini cablecar that can take you to the summit where there are observation deck, restaurants with nice views out over the city, planetarium and theater.
Shopping in Susukino
Susukino is one of largest entertainment district in Sapporo. There is a small road which sells mainly Ramen shop called "Ramen Yokocho"
Odori Park
Odori means a large street in Japanese. It is a large street in the center of Sapporo separating the city into north and south. Odori Park stretches about 1 km. In February the park serves as the main site of Sapporo Snow Festival.
Shiroi Koibito Park
This is a theme park by Ishiya, a local chocolate company which produce "Shiroi Koibito" chocolate, a famous souvenir in Hokkaido. The park consist of a free area (shop, cafe and restaurant) and paid area (chocolate exhibition and a few large windows which visitors can observe the cookie production in process). You can also experience create your own cookies in hands on workshops.
Sapporo Beer Museum
Hokkaido is also famous for its birthplace of beer in Japan. Sapporo Beer is one of the oldest and most popular beer brands in Japan.
Sapporo curb wholesale market
It is one of Sapporo's largest public market. This curb market specialized in Hokkaido seafood such as crab, sea urchin, salmon, squid and scallop. It is said that this market offer reasonable price and also an excellent way to experience having fresh local seafood served over rice at local restaurants
Nijo Market
Nijo Market is a public market in central Sapporo serves local produce and seafood such as crabs, salmon eggs, sea urchin and various fresh fishes
Sapporo Clock Tower
The Clock Tower is a symbol of Sapporo and now serves as a museum displays about the building's history and Sapporo.
