DESCRIPTION
Okinawa World is a theme park about Okinawan culture. The theme park main attraction are a big natural cave, craft village and snake museum.
Gyokusendo Cave is a cave inside Okinawa world that has a total length of 5 km. Gyokusendo Cave is the longest cave among many caves in the south of Okinawa Island and is said to be the second longest cave in the entire Japan. Around 850 meters of the cave are open to public. The cave is very well maintained with the walking paths and easy to walk. You can see lots of stalactites and stalagmites like any other cave.
The Kingdom Village is a nice replica of traditional Ryukyu Village. You can see various traditional Okinawa crafts such as weaving, dyeing, paper making, pottery, sugar cone processing, the making of music instruments and so on. You can also try lots of hands-on experience here.
The Habu Park, named after the infamous poisonous local Habu snake in Okinawa. This is a small museum displaying snakes and some snake shows.

By Car

By Bus
Take bus number 83 from Naha Bus Center all the way to its terminal stop, Gyokusendo-mae, which is located in front of Okinawa World (60 minutes, 580 yen, one bus every 1-2 hours).
