DESCRIPTION
Tokyo Skytree (東京スカイツリー) is a modern TV broadcasting tower and one of the most iconic landmarks in Tokyo, following the famous Tokyo Tower. Located in Sumida City Ward, near Asakusa, it stands at an impressive height of 634 meters. Upon completion, Tokyo Skytree became the tallest structure in Japan and the second tallest in the world.
The tower features two observation decks located at heights of 350 meters and 450 meters, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Tokyo. These are the highest observation decks in Japan, making them a must-visit attraction for both tourists and locals.
At the base of the tower, there is a large shopping and entertainment complex called Tokyo Solamachi, which includes more than 300 shops, restaurants, and an aquarium — perfect for families and travelers looking to spend a full day here.
The best time to visit Tokyo Skytree Observatory is around 5:30 PM, when you can enjoy the daytime city view and then watch as the night lights of Tokyo illuminate the skyline.
