SUMMARY
Niseko is one of Japan most famous mountain resort areas, located in Hokkaido around Mount Niseko Annupuri. It is known worldwide for deep powder snow, four connected ski resort areas, hot springs, summer activities, and views of Mount Yotei.

DESCRIPTION

Niseko is a world famous resort area in southwestern Hokkaido, centered around Mount Niseko Annupuri and the towns of Niseko and Kutchan.

In winter, Niseko is best known for its light powder snow, tree runs, night skiing, and international ski village atmosphere.

The main ski area, Niseko United, is made up of four resort zones on one mountain: Grand Hirafu, Hanazono, Niseko Village, and Annupuri.

Each area has its own base, restaurants, lodging, and lift access, while the upper mountain links the resorts for skiers and snowboarders with suitable tickets and conditions.

Beyond winter sports, Niseko is also a four season destination. In warmer months, visitors can enjoy rafting, cycling, hiking, golf, farm scenery, cafes, and views of Mount Yotei.

Hot springs are another highlight of the area, with many hotels and ryokan offering onsen baths that are especially popular after skiing or outdoor activities.

Niseko is a good choice for travelers who want Hokkaido nature, comfortable resort facilities, winter sports, and relaxed countryside scenery in one trip.
