DESCRIPTION

Shinsekai (新世界) means "The New World" in English. The area of Shinsekai is famous for 3 things, Tsutenkaku Tower, Kushikatsu (Osaka's best known dish) and Tennoji Zoo.

Tsutenkaku Tower was contructed in 1912 with Eiffel Tower as the model. Its current height is 103 meteres with the main observatory at a height of 91 meters.

Kushikatsu is one of Osaka famous dish. Kushikatsu is deep fried pieces of food on skewers. Meat and vegetables are the most common ingredients for kushikatsu. Shinsekai is the best place to enjoy Kushikatsu. There are lots of restaurants selling delicious kushikatsu.

Tennoji Zoo opened in January 1915 as the third zoo in Japan and has remained popular as a place for recreation, culture and learning.

After tired travel around Osaka, you can chill and relax in Osaka biggest Spa World with a large number of pools on a European themed floor and Asian themed floor.

Access

Shinsekai is a short walk from Shin-Imamiya Station on the JR Loop Line, Dobutsuen-mae Station on the Midosuji and Sakaisuji Subway Lines, and Ebisucho Station on the Sakaisuji Subway Line.

2400 yen for three hours (2700 yen during peak seasons)
