DESCRIPTION

Asakusa (浅草) offers old atmosthere of Japan. You can see lots of old buildings in Asakusa.

Asakusa main attraction is the street from Nakamise Shopping Street to Sensoji Temple. There are lots of shops selling Japanese souvenirs such as samurai blade, kimono, yukata, geta (Japanese Sandals), Japanese bags, Japanese food souvenirs, etc. You can also rent yukata here.

You can also see rickshaw in Asakusa. A 30 minute tour for 2 person costs around ¥9,000.

After finished shopping in Nakamise, you can take a rest in Sumida Park. From Sumida Park you can see Tokyo Sky Tree and famous Asahi Beer Tower.
