Shibazakura Festival Travel Info

DESCRIPTION

The Fuji Shibazakura Festival (富士芝桜まつり) is one of Japan’s most famous festivals to enjoy shibazakura (pink moss phlox). The festival is usually held from mid-April to early June, when the flowers are in full bloom.

Visitors can enjoy stunning views of pink shibazakura fields with Mount Fuji as the backdrop. Due to its popularity, the festival grounds can become very crowded, so it is recommended to avoid weekends and Golden Week holidays.

Access

The easiest way to reach Fujishibazakura Festival is by bus from nearby stations or major locations.
